1. Getting Started with CityGlam
A: Download the app from Google Play or Apple Store, select your language and country, then sign in with email, Google, Facebook, or Apple. Add your name and mobile number, your free account is ready!
A: Yes! CityGlam offers a Standard Plan that is completely free, allowing you to book, browse, and enjoy essential features. For enhanced features and exclusive benefits, you can upgrade to a Classic or Premium plan at any time
A: Yes. With your one account and CGP wallet, you can book and pay for services in any African country where CityGlam is available.
A: Absolutely! Use your referral link to invite friends and earn CityGlam Points (CGP) when they sign up, and when they book their first service.
A: Go to Account Settings in the app, where you can update your personal info, password, notification preferences, and location.
2. Booking & Managing Appointments
A: Yes! Businesses offering mobile services will let you choose either “Visit Shop” or “At Home” when booking.
A: Verified businesses and professionals have a blue or green check mark badge and are vetted through our onboarding process.
A: It depends on the provider, but typically up to 30 days in advance.
A: Yes! Tap the ❤️ icon to add providers to your favorites for easy access and rebooking.
A: Yes. After each appointment, you can leave a rating and review based on your experience.
A: When booking at-home service, you can track your beautician live on the map, view their ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival), and get real-time notifications.
A: Yes. You can generate a secure payment link and share it with a friend or family member to pay on your behalf.
A: Absolutely! You can book and prepay a beauty appointment package and send it as a gift to another CityGlam user.
A: Some beauty businesses offer this option. Just check the business profile to see if Buy Now, Pay Later is available.
3. Payments, Rewards & Wallet
A: Mobile money, debit/credit cards, bank transfers, and your CityGlam Wallet and Point (CGP).
A: Yes! Use CGP at checkout or convert them to cash, airline miles and hotel rewards.
A: Some providers charge no-show penalties. Always check their cancellation policy before booking.
A: Yes! After your appointment, you can tip your provider digitally.
A: Not directly, but you can send them CGP, gift cards, money or referral bonuses.
4. Safety, Trust & Support
A: Use the in-app support chat or file a complaint through your booking history. Our team will assist promptly.
A: Yes. Verified professionals undergo ID verification, training, and profile review.
A: You'll receive a live map view of your provider's ETA once they're en route, just like a ride-hailing app.
A: Yes! Simply enter their name in the "appointment for" field during booking.
A: Your data is encrypted and stored securely. We never share it without your consent.
FOR BEAUTY BUSINESSES
1. Setting Up Your Business
A: From your CityGlam account, you can add your business or company as a main entity. If you're a sole trader, you can register your business under your personal name. Once the business entity is set up, you can add one or more shops or branches under it.
A: You'll need a valid ID, proof of business (such as a shop photo or business registration), and a verified phone number or email address.
A: A "business" refers to the main entity (whether registered or unregistered) that manages operations, while a "shop" or "branch" refers to the physical location where services are offered to customers.
A: Yes. You can add multiple shops or branches depending on your subscription plan. The Standard plan allows one shop/branch, while higher-tier plans unlock additional locations.
A: Customers browse and book through the shop or branch profile, which appears in the public directory. The main business entity is used internally for management and is not shown.
A: Yes! You can register multiple shops or branches and also enable mobile services to offer at-home appointments.
A: Appointments are booked directly with the shop or branch. The business entity is used to organize and manage your operations.
A: Absolutely. You can add team members to your shop or branches, assign roles, create schedules, and manage bookings across your entire staff.
A: Listing your business is free. A small transaction fee applies to confirmed bookings. You can also upgrade to access premium features by selecting a paid plan.
2. Managing Appointments & Clients
A: You receive booking requests in real time and can accept, reschedule, or decline them. Calendar sync is also supported.
A: Yes. Set custom no-show or late cancellation fees to protect your time.
A: Yes, automated reminders are sent by SMS or app notifications before the appointment.
A: Yes. Use the in-app chat or contact tools to confirm or clarify bookings.
A: Yes. You can blacklist problematic clients from your dashboard.
A: Yes! If a customer shares their location, you’ll be able to track their ETA and prepare accordingly for their arrival.
A: Yes. If your business qualifies, you can activate Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) to attract more clients.
A: Definitely! You can list and sell physical products, digital gift cards, and custom service packages through your profile.
3. Payments & Revenue
A: Payments appear instantly in your CityGlam Wallet. Withdraw anytime to your bank or mobile wallet.
A: Yes. Your business dashboard provides real-time analytics on bookings, earnings, and services sold.
A: Yes. Set up digital gift cards, prepaid packages, and promos & Discounts to attract more clients.
A: A small percentage (platform fee) is deducted from completed transactions, depending on your plan.
A: Use the app to mark the service as “paid in-store” and maintain trust. Frequent offline avoidance may lead to deactivation.

FOR REGIONAL MANAGERS
1. Becoming a Regional Manager
A: A Regional Manager promotes CityGlam, supports new businesses, and earns income from their local network.
A: Visit the app or website and fill out the Regional Manager application and start working instantly. Approval may take 1 - 3 days in rare cases.
A: No. CityGlam offers an entry Plan for Regional Managers that is completely FREE...
A: Yes, but you must grow and support your first region successfully before expanding, and again it depends on your plan.
A: Yes. You'll get a Manager Dashboard, onboarding materials, and a local support rep.
A: No. You can start FREE under the Bronze Plan. To access more tools, manage more users, and earn higher commissions, you can upgrade to Gold or Platinum plan.
2. Earnings & Benefits
A: Earnings depend on how active your onboarded users are and your plan. You receive a percentage from their bookings for life.
A: Yes! You earn from transactions of every user you bring to the platform.
A: Yes. CityGlam offers bonuses for milestones, referrals, and region performance.
A: Your earnings go to your CityGlam Wallet. You can withdraw or use them for in-app services.
A: Yes. Online training sessions and video tutorials are available on your dashboard.
3. Managing & Growing the Network
A: Yes. Use your invite code, referral link or Manager tools to register beauty professionals and customers.
A: Your dashboard shows active businesses, earnings, pending support tasks, and growth analytics.
A: Yes, depends on your milestone and regional performance, and if you're upgraded to a Senior Manager role.
A: Help them set up profiles, upload services, understand payments, and manage appointments.
A: You'll stop earning from inactive accounts, so it's in your interest to support and motivate them.
A: Yes! Higher-tier plans like Gold and Platinum allow you to onboard and support sub-managers, increasing your earnings.
A: Your plan determines the number of users or businesses you can manage. Bronze allows a smaller number, while Gold and Platinum offer much higher limits.
